Square mesh is a mesh fabric made primarily of polyethylene with added anti-aging and UV-resistant chemical additives, produced through a filament drawing process. It boasts advantages such as high tensile strength, heat resistance, water resistance, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, non-toxicity, odorlessness, and easy waste disposal. It can kill common pests such as flies and mosquitoes. It is lightweight and easy to store under normal use, and with proper storage, its lifespan can reach approximately 3-5 years.
Square mesh mulching cultivation is a practical and environmentally friendly agricultural technology for increasing yields. By covering trellises with the mesh to create an artificial barrier, pests are kept out, cutting off their (adult) reproduction pathways. This effectively controls the spread of various pests, such as cabbage caterpillars, diamondback moths, aphids, flea beetles, beet armyworms, American serpentine leafminers, and cotton bollworms, as well as preventing the spread of viral diseases. Furthermore, the grid mesh allows light to pass through while providing moderate shading, creating favorable conditions for crop growth and significantly reducing the use of chemical pesticides in vegetable fields. This results in high-quality, hygienic crops, providing a strong technical guarantee for the development of pollution-free green agricultural products. The grid mesh also helps protect against natural disasters such as storms and hail. It is widely used in the propagation of original seeds for vegetables and rapeseed to isolate pollen introduction, as well as for covering potatoes and flowers after tissue culture and virus elimination, and for pollution-free vegetables. It can also be used in tobacco seedling cultivation for pest and disease control. Currently, it is the preferred product for physical control of various crop and vegetable pests. This truly allows consumers to eat "safe vegetables" and contributes to my country's "vegetable basket project."
