The passive protection netting primarily uses high-strength galvanized hexagonal steel wire mesh. The wire diameter is typically 2.8-4.0mm, and the wire is hot-dip galvanized with a zinc layer thickness of no less than 85μm to ensure corrosion resistance. Mesh sizes are mostly 20×20cm or 15×15cm, and the mesh structure facilitates the embedding of gravel and the dispersion of impact force.
Key parameters of the passive protection netting include:
Impact resistance: Standard type can withstand 150kJ of energy impact, reinforced type up to 300kJ;
System height: Commonly 3-5m, customizable according to protection requirements;
Single mesh area: Generally 10-30㎡/sheet, easy to install on-site.
