Fixing methods include bolt fixing and welding fixing. Bolt fixing requires gaskets and rust prevention treatment. For welding fixing, the weld length should be no less than 50 mm, and post-weld anti-corrosion treatment is required. The spacing between the connection points between the mesh and the wall or substrate structure should not exceed 500 mm, and the connection strength should be no less than 80% of the tensile strength of the mesh. For long-span installations, such as those exceeding 10 meters, it is recommended to install reinforcing posts every 3 meters, with a post diameter no less than 8 times the wire diameter of the mesh. For edge fixing, a composite fixing method combining pre-tensioning and U-shaped clips can be used, which can improve the uniformity of mesh tension by 60%.

During transportation, moisture-proof and impact-resistant packaging is required to avoid deformation of the mesh due to compression or scratches on the coating. During storage, the mesh should be stored in a dry, ventilated warehouse, away from acidic and alkaline substances, and the bottom layer should be elevated by at least 10 cm.

Regular inspection of the connectors is necessary to maintain the torque between 15 and 20 N·m. Before the rainy season each year, the mesh surface can be cleaned with a high-pressure water gun with a pressure not exceeding 50 MPa. If the galvanized layer is locally damaged, it should be repaired by spraying a zinc-rich primer with a zinc content of not less than 85%.
