Our black plastic bird netting is designed to protect crops, fruit trees, and garden plants from birds and small wildlife without harming them. Also referred to as anti bird netting, polypropylene garden netting, or fruit tree protection mesh, it provides an effective physical barrier.

Manufactured using biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOP) technology, this netting delivers high tensile strength and tear resistance at an ultra-lightweight 12 gsm. Unlike trading companies supplying recycled or easily tangled mesh, YONGTE provides 100% virgin PP netting directly from our own production facility, ensuring snag-free handling and reliable outdoor performance.

Supplied in 7 ft x 100 ft (approx. 2.1 m x 30.5 m) rolls, this black mesh features uniform 19 x 19 mm (3/4 inch) square openings. The 12 gsm structure allows sunlight, rain, and pollinating bees through while stopping bird intrusion. Custom widths and roll lengths are available upon request.

Ideal for blueberry bushes, vineyards, cherry orchards, strawberry beds, and vegetable gardens. It is also widely applied as pond netting to keep leaves and herons away from fish ponds, and as protective roof netting for poultry runs and aviaries.

Production takes place in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. YONGTE operates 8 extrusion production lines and 12 sets of production machines across a 4,600 m² factory, exporting to over 50 countries via Ningbo and Shanghai ports. All products comply with CE, REACH, and SMETA (Sedex) international standards for verified factory quality.

Q1: Will this 3/4" (19x19mm) mesh opening block sunlight, rain, or pollinating bees?

A: No. The 19x19 mm square mesh is specifically engineered as the optimal size for agricultural protection: it completely blocks birds and small pests while allowing 100% of essential sunlight, airflow, rainwater, and pollinating insects like bees to pass through freely.

Q2: Is this 12 gsm BOP netting easy to install without tangling?

A: Yes. Because this netting is biaxially oriented (stretched in both directions), the strands have structural memory and remain relatively flat and smooth. Unlike soft knitted nets that easily snag and knot, our BOP netting unrolls smoothly and can be draped or fastened effortlessly by a single worker.
